Armor Lux has a study and design office which creates over 1,500 new models each year. It relies on a team in charge of producing prototypes and developing new products for its customers.

Integrated manufacture from the thread to the end product

Armor Lux has one of the latest vertically integrated textile production tools. It is composed of two industrial sites:

The first one, located in the town center, includes the knitting and dyeing workshops and the analytical laboratory.

Armor Lux owns 85 circular knitting machines of various gauges and diameters which enable it to produce in large quantities the main types of plain or striped knitted fabric (Jersey, Côte, Interlock) used to make cotton clothing and underwear.

The Armor Lux company also has its own dyeing workshop to dye small or large quantities of ecru knitted fabric resorting to the winch, jet or overflow dyeing processes. The dyeing workshop is Oeko-Tex standard 100 certified which guarantees the absence in the knitted fabric of substances which can harm the health of users.

This industrial know-how was recognized by the French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment in 2010 with the granting of the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant Label (Living Heritage Company Label ).

The second, opened in 2004, located in the zone of Kerdroniou, gathers the cutting activities (manual for the striped knitted fabric and automatic for plain knitted fabric), fashioning, the logistics center, the offices and direct sales with a 1,500 m² shop.

Armor Lux has a logistics center which covers three levels and 11,000 m² in Quimper. It has many storage possibilities in order to meet its customers’ requirements: static, suspended, dynamic. Armor Lux distributes over 5,000,000 items / year from its logistics platforms in Quimper. Logistic know-how ranges from the home-delivery of individual parcels to mass deliveries of complete collections of ready-to-wear.

Armor Lux has its own distribution network of over 50 outlets divided between town-center stores and out-of-town shops of which the concept combines the sale of textile articles and that of quality regional products.
