The Bonneterie d’Armor was founded in Quimper from the desire of one man: Walter Hubacher. At the age of 31, this Swiss man of Alemannic origin made the bet to create and produce high-quality underwear under the Armor Lux brand name.

Resolutely committed to sustainable development, Armor Lux launched a line of products made from fairtrade cotton certified by Fairtrade / Max Havelaar.
The French railway company SNCF entrusted Armor Lux with manufacturing its controllers’ new outfits.
Armor Lux signed a certification agreement with ECOCERT for the manufacture and distribution of products made from organic cotton.
Jean-Guy Le Floch received in Quimper the insignia of Knight of the Legion of Honor.
AFNOR Certification provided Armor Lux with an AFAQ 26000 assessment certificate for its overall social responsibility policy (maturity level). The integrated analytical laboratory is accredited by the COFRAC (French Comity of Accreditation) in accordance with the standard NF ISO 17025.
Creation in Quimper of a clothing industry operator course in partnership with the Pôle Emploi (French national employment agency), the Chambre de métiers et de l’artisanat du Finistère (Chamber of trades and crafts of the Finistère) and Opcalia TMC
